I would love to hear a few words from the audience, so please. When you're not within 16 blocks of a spawner, it wont work, sorry, that's a game mechanic. Make sure you alternate blocks so that nothing falls on your head and hurts you. Ever wondered how other players can get so much awesome enchanted gear in such little time? That means killing lots of monsters. You can build around the area that your spawner is at, or simply sit in the same spot while they spawn.
I built this in 1. Some might be spawning, but then just despawning as you wait and not falling down. You don't want to dig straight down, so dig a 2x1 shaft, then fill in one side. Ideally, you want to place 23 signs in total in your vertical shaft. Only one row of these blocks will have water on them. Thank you so much for the time and effort! Spawner only active if player inside.
If I don't have soul sand and don't plan to go to the End to take it , couldn't I simply let them fall for 24 blocks and then kill them? The zombies get stuck on the up stream Thx this is the only one I could find that worked Ur a legend😃 How do I find a mob spawner in 1. There should be no water in this vertical shaft. This also gives you an opportunity to get rid of the baby zombies - baby zombies are too short to go up the water elevator. That being said, I typically drop the mobs down 6 blocks or so to ensure they're fully outside of the dark-red region , then have streams from one side of the dark room to another to push the mobs to one side, then a water channel to push them to one corner to a water elevator. Just let the zombies pile up until there's a bunch and then throw a few splash potions of healing on them and they'll all die. The principle is to find a mob spawner in a dungeon, then build a system so that when mobs are spawned, they are whisked away quickly because if they hang around more than 10 seconds or so they might prevent other mobs from spawning and made to fall down a drop that will nearly, but not quite, kill them. You can still punch through, but the zombies can't get out.
If there is, the horizontal shaft at the top isn't long enough. But such a system is a considerably time and resource-intensive project. This creates a flow of water toward the elevator that will funnel zombies or skeletons that spawn. A cobblestone, snow, or small tree farm could be an interesting investment. As long as the area is secure from other mobs wandering in, you don't need to be there at all. Also add 2 blocks above the spawner to stop mobs from spawning there.
In theory, yours sounds correct. Skeletons are nice for drops and they're all the same size. Great video, great explanation, great outcome. The farm leaves mobs as a one hit kill with your fists or a healing splash potion, giving you the xp and drops from the mobs. But really its dark, so the zombies can still spawn. Do your homework, go to school, go to bed, whatever. Fortunately you could set up something a little grindy nearby and do that whilst you wait for them to spawn.
If dying, they're taking extra damage within the system. For all you noobs, when you drown a zombie in the aquatic update they turn into drowned. Is there any info on 1. When the zombies fall and automatically die they dont drop xp is that supposed to be like that I made it and now a bunch of zombies just get stuck Why when i put the water to drop them off it does not go all the way?? Mobs would just get stuck on them, waiting. I heavily recommend Etho's , it works great. Spawners spawn a new mob at most every 10 seconds random range in 10-49.
This is what the light looks like in minecraft. If it's a 23 block drop then you should be fine so long as you're not directly under it. Drowned drop tritons, nautilus shell which can be made into a conduit with the heart of the sea and rotten flesh. You need to have the floor dug down 2 blocks under where the zombies drop down. Try a cage of fences. As an added benefit, if you have a looting sword, you can throw the potion and then immediately switch to the sword, so that by the time the potion hits, the sword is already equipped. Any half-decent one has about the same efficiency.
