White label - What will it mean to you?'White Label' is our big 2006 project. It'll let you brand dotMailer more as your own product, with logos, and link paths that point directly to your own website (rather than being redirected via the 'dotm' domain). This has been a frequently requested feature from marketing agencies and resellers, who offer dotMailer as a service to their clients and want their own branding to be prominent on it (which is fair enough!). And the move to direct link paths will benefit everyone, as of course most email recipients will have never heard of dotMailer or what we do! We'll be ready to launch phase one this Spring. This will allows your logo to replace the dotMailer branding within the edit, management and reporting suite, and allow trackable links and image paths within emails to point directly to your domain. It also provides flexibility on the address book upload feature, lets you configure the 'contact us' and support request functions to go directly to you, and, via a management screen, brings far greater control to those agencies and resellers who might be managing several clients. This is being trialled with a small number of volunteer clients, and will be ready to roll out just as soon as it's fully tested. What do you think? Developments to dotMailer are directly prompted by customer feedback and requests, and if you're interested in this side of things then we'd really like to hear from you. Contact us and we'll talk about it. |
