Powerful email design suite

At the heart of dotMailer is an email creation and edit system that is probably the most advanced of its type.

It's also incredibly easy to use. In an environment very similar to, say, Microsoft Word™, you can type text, upload pictures or graphics and drag them wherever you like, insert tables, change colours, typefaces…change them again…delete things you don't like…try it one way…change it back to what it was before…

Common functions, such as inserting an 'unsubscribe' link or including the name or personal details of the recipient, are accessible via drop-down menus.

Suffice it to say that if you're comfortable with a word processor or simple graphics package, you can use dotMailer to create HTML emails. Note that we're talking about totally flexible point-and-click design here. Not a prescriptive 'wizard' system that ultimately produces only variations on the same templates.

If you don't want to design from scratch within dotMailer, you can simply import any existing HTML file by using our one-stop upload system - this grabs all HTML and images in a single sweep to a single server with touch-of-a-button ease. Many companies will, for instance, ask a web designer to create a number of templates in advance. Then their administrative staff will use dotMailer to edit and amend these templates for each mailing.

Everything can be previewed in real time, and you can 'test send' as many times as you like to ensure that your messages are coming out as you would wish. For those proficient in HTML, the source code of each campaign can be viewed or edited directly from within dotMailer.

The bottom line is that dotMailer gives you design flexibility. You don't need to be an expert to create emails that stand out from the crowd - but its friendly nature doesn't hold you back either.
