Unsubscribe Design

Your dotMailer unsubscribe page (and Forward to a Friend page) can be designed and branded to your own brief. This adds additional branding and offers reassurance to your subscribers that they are unsubscribing or updating their details with you, and not a 'vanilla' page.

Your Unsubscribe Options

Preference Centre

The Preference Centre allows your subscribers to view the data that you hold about them and to either, remove themselves from particular address books, update any contact details you hold or completely unsubscribe from all your campaigns.

The information which is shown are the public address books and data fields that are set as Public within your dotMailer Contacts. If none of your address books or data fields are set at Public, no information will be shown.

The Preference Centre puts your subscribers in control of the emails they receive and gives them the option to opt in and out as they choose from your campaigns, and also to tell you when their details change.

To access their Preference Centre to update details or unsubscribe, the subscriber must enter the email address which is held within your dotMailer Contacts.

Simple

The Simple unsubscribe method offers unsubscribing within 2 clicks. When your subscriber clicks on your unsubscribe link they are taken to your unsubscribe page which asks them to confirm that they wish to unsubscribe.

The email address from which they clicked through from will be suppressed within your dotMailer Contacts database. Simple, no fuss for your subscribers.

You can select which type of unsubscribe from the My Account section in dotMailer.

Unsubscribe in your own Language

Depending on your subscriber's computer settings, dotMailer automatically transcribes the Unsubscribe and Forward to a Friend pages into the recipient's language!
