Technical SupportPosition Salary Job Summary You will require a working knowledge of HTML and also understand such terms as POP3, SMTP, Bounce backs and SPAM filters. In depth training will be provided and depending on experience the role will develop into supporting our server farm in docklands. Ideally, you'll have recently qualified in a recognised IT course, have some exposure to networking and be familiar with standard hardware and software platforms. We're small in numbers - so you won't be behind a faceless 'support desk' - and we're looking for somebody who understands that being a Jack or Jill of all trades in a technical company like ours is the very best start you could have for a career in IT. Long-term, there may be an opportunity to move into development for the right candidate. Due to the customer support nature of this role, good interpersonal skills are a must. That means a friendly 'can do' attitude is needed and a real desire to be helpful! |
