We’re headquartered in Croydon; right next to East Croydon station. We’ve recently invested in a brand new office space, with zoned areas for our different teams – because we know that our developers need a different type of working environment to our sales team. We all like to spend time in our giant kitchen/games room where we eat lunch and drink tea together and hold our weekly company meetings.
A Global business
As well as our headquarters in Croydon, we have offices all over the UK and now the globe, including Manchester, Edinburgh, New York, Australia and Belarus, plus a crack team of coders based just outside Cambridge. All of our teams speak once a week over video conference at our weekly company meeting where we share what we’ve been working on and successes from the week.
We believe in hiring the best, and then making sure we’re developing careers within dotMailer. We have a number of people who have worked their way up through the business; we work together to create a unique career path, and provide the training needed to get there.
We involve everyone in dotMailer in our business planning process. Our Directors will regularly have lunch with everyone across the business to give everyone a chance to ask questions in an informal environment.
Working with our community
We’re very proud of our Croydon roots! We get involved with local community projects including the Croydon Tech City movement and we have some of our team teaching Code Clubs in our local primary schools - here’s our Director of Technology sharing his thoughts on Code Club.
It's not all hard work!
Although we work hard, we also like to have fun. We have Summer and Christmas parties every year, which is a good chance to get together, celebrate our successes and also announce our Employee of the Year winners. Check out a recent Christmas party... We also have a social committee – dotSocial - who organise events for everyone to attend through the year.
